Energy Scenarios, Economic Impacts, Policy Proposals
This study is an initiative of the authors, aiming to contribute to the public debate on sustainability and to help formulate public policy. It has relied to a large extent on earlier analyses that have been funded:
- by the Ministry of Finance (Directorate General for Growth) under a Memorandum of Understanding on Green Transition and Sustainable Development in Cyprus (co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds – Thaleia Programme);
- by the European Commission (DG Reform) under technical assistance for the revision of the National Energy and Climate Plan (contract REFORM/SC2022/029 in cooperation with Trinomics B. V.); and
- from the ACCEPT project funded by the EEA-Norway Grants 2014-2021.
